HERMITAGE HOME INTERIORS at Salone del Mobile Milano 2023

From April 18 to 23, 2023, HERMITAGE HOME INTERIORS had the honor of attending Salone del Mobile Milano, the largest international furniture fair held in Italy. This event was a true celebration of design, gathering over 2,000 brands from 37 countries and drawing more than 300,000 visitors from around the world.

Returning to its traditional format, the exhibition reminded us all of design’s unique ability to connect people. This year was particularly significant, and we are excited to share the trends and collections that inspired us.

Key Trends at the Exhibition

1. Sensory Design

   Furniture in soft, skin-tone colors and rounded forms became a symbol of warmth and emotion. This enduring trend encourages us to rethink comfort and coziness in our interiors.

2. Childlike Interiors

   Bright colors and simple shapes evoked childhood memories, with pieces reminiscent of toys and cartoons, adding playful touches to the spaces.

3. Designer Classics

   Manufacturers specializing in classic design presented new interpretations using premium natural materials. These pieces are ideal for modern eclectic interiors and are destined to become collectible items.

4. Flowing Textures

   Objects crafted from colored glass and stone, inspired by natural flow patterns, brought a sense of calm and visual dynamism to interiors.

5. Mustard Yellow and Orange

   This palette became the trendiest of 2023, infusing warmth and light into any space.

Salone del Mobile Milano 2023 also provided a platform to discuss important topics such as sustainability and innovation. We saw many solutions featuring integrated automation systems, as well as items made from recycled and eco-friendly materials.
